Setup

How to set up WordPress

Install the Fiko plugin

WordPress → Plugins → Add New → Search 'Fiko' → Install → Activate.

Connect to Fiko

Plugin settings → enter your Fiko API key (from Fiko → Settings → API).

Enable content sync

Plugin settings → Content Sync → Select which post types to sync (pages, posts, products). Initial sync runs in background.

Enable the chat widget

Plugin settings → Chat Widget → Enable. Pick widget position and color. The widget appears on all pages.

Configure update webhooks

Plugin settings → Webhooks → Enable. When you update a page, Fiko's knowledge base updates in real-time.

Questions about WordPress

Yes, but it's optional. Many businesses skip blog sync (blog posts can mislead the AI with outdated info). Stick to evergreen pages: about, services, pricing, FAQ.
Yes. In the plugin settings, mark pages as 'Exclude from AI sync'. Useful for admin pages, internal notes, etc.
Yes. Each site can have its own Fiko account or share one. Configuration is per-site.
