Prerequisites

  • Fiko account with at least one channel connected
  • Existing FAQ list or knowledge of common customer questions
  • (Optional) Your business website URL
  • (Optional) PDF documents like policies, brochures, manuals
Step by step

Follow these steps in order

1

Open the Knowledge Base section

Fiko dashboard → Knowledge Base. You'll see five tabs: FAQs, Manual Prompt, Products, Website, Documents. Each is a different knowledge source.
2

Write your manual business prompt

Start in Manual Prompt. Write 1-2 paragraphs: who you are, what you sell, your hours, location, tone (friendly/professional), and any policies (cancellation, refund). This gives the AI a base understanding.
3

Add 10-20 FAQ pairs

FAQs → New. Add questions in the exact words customers ask: 'Do you accept SGK?', 'What time do you close?', 'How long does X take?'. Write clear, complete answers.
4

Add products and services

Products → New. For each product/service: title, price, description, category. Be specific — vague descriptions give vague AI answers.
5

(Optional) Crawl your website

Website → Add Source. Enter your website URL, set max pages (e.g., 30), and crawl depth. Fiko crawls asynchronously, cleans HTML, and generates Q&A pairs.
6

(Optional) Upload documents

Documents → Upload. Upload PDFs, DOCX, or TXT files: policies, brochures, manuals. Fiko extracts text, chunks it, and stores it as knowledge.
7

Test the AI with real questions

Send DMs to your own Instagram or WhatsApp from a personal account. Ask common questions. Watch what the AI replies. Note any wrong answers.
8

Use Dislike to refine answers

When the AI gives a wrong reply, click Dislike and provide the correct answer. The AI uses this feedback for future similar questions. Quality improves week over week.
FAQ

Common questions

10-20 covers most common questions for SMB businesses. Add more over time based on customer questions you see. The Like/Dislike feedback system helps you identify gaps.
Crawl high-value pages: services, pricing, about, contact, FAQ. Skip blog posts (often outdated, off-topic). Aim for 20-50 pages. More isn't always better — quality > quantity.
Yes. Upload documents in any major language. Embeddings work multilingually. A customer asking in Turkish can retrieve relevant English content if needed, then the AI replies in Turkish.
